About this tour
The tour begins with a visit to the largest free fair in Bahia. São Joaquim is the place where the smell of spices blends with the scent of miraculous herbs, in a real cauldron that allows the visitor a deep dive into afro bahian culture. After, we will head to the Historic Center, a dish full of gastronomic experiences ranging from the most refined restaurants to the simplest bars.
Much of the magic of Bahia is in the “pelô” in its streets and in its varied menu of foods and drinks that gave fame to the region, such as the cachaças of Bar Cravinho, the trays of bahianas, cubana ice cream, coconut juice with lemon and several other flavors that will be forever in your memory. We will end our tour to the Museum of Bahian gastronomy, located in the Cultural Complex of SENAC and complete the experience with a lunch at the School Restaurant.
